Frequently Asked Questions

How do I pay?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Interac E-Transfer, or cash!

What materials will you take?

DumpUrJunk.com will dispose of almost all non-hazardous materials such as construction debris, demolition or renovation debris, yard trimmings, green waste, household junk, appliances, furniture, scrap metal, dirt, sod, rocks, gravel, cement, and any odds and ends. We can also make special arrangements to ensure the proper disposal for items such as paint, fridges, freezers, televisions, computers, and tires.

Can I move the bin?

No, our junk bins are heavy duty which makes them very heavy and hard to move… they require the proper equipment to move them. Any damage that is not normal wear and tear will be the responsibility of the client. For a reasonable fee, we will drive back to where your bin is and move the bin again if it is required.

Are there items that you will not take?

There are some materials that we cannot take. These include but are not limited to hazardous materials such as chemicals, gasoline, oils, solvents, car batteries, asbestos, propane tanks, or any type of toxic or biological waste.

Any civic or environmental charges on such materials are the sole responsibility of the client; therefore, we recommend that you safeguard your bin and monitor its’ contents accordingly.

How much can you take?

Our trucks have the capacity to carry up to 30 yards of material, or 8,000 kg.

How high can I load the bin?

We ask that you load your materials only to the top of the wall edge. If overloading occurs, additional charges may be assessed, as per our rental contract. If the materials are loaded to an unsafe level, the bin will be unloaded accordingly.

How much notice do you require when I want to rent a bin?

We will do our best to accommodate your schedule. We can often supply a bin on the same day that you call, or on the following day. We will also hold a bin for you for a specific date within a reasonable time frame.

How do you charge?

The pricing for our services is dependant upon the size of bin required, the type of materials, driving distance, and the volume and weight of material as determined by the appropriate transfer station. Please contact us for detailed rates.

What happens if I need the bin for a longer period of time than I originally thought?

We pride ourselves on customer service, and will do our best to accommodate you, just give us a quick call to figure out new arrangements.

What are your hours?

We work 7am to 7pm, Monday to Saturday and abide by the specific bylaws of each Municipality.

How much room do you need to deliver the bin?

When delivering a bin, we need enough space for the length of the bin and truck. The bin rolls off the back of the truck. This can be anywhere from 30-50 feet depending on the size of the bin and the truck that delivers it.
